Animal Portraits

Animal portraits may be done with or without a painted border surrounding the image.

Commissions are done in acrylic paint on canvas from photographs.  I talk with my client by phone and connect online through email and text. Videos are helpful to get a sense of the pet’s personality. 

Prices run from $200 for a 12” x 10” canvas and upwards depending on size and the number of pets included.  I require a 25% deposit before starting the painting. Shipping, if required, is extra.

Normally, paintings take two to three months to complete once all aspects are agreed upon and deposit is received.

I will also paint portraits of owners with their pets.
